Achievements
Jacob Rollins is a Violist and multi-instrumentalist, consistently challenging the traditional identity of the classical musician. Blending Classical, Pop, Rock, Metal, Jazz, and Video Game music, Jacob’s musical influences are quite varied, and traces of everything can be found in his performances.
An avid advocate of contemporary classical music, Jacob regularly performs with the American Modern Ensemble and On-Site Opera, both in the concert hall and in public spaces throughout Manhattan, playing everything from traditional classical to contemporary to pop music. Jacob performs with New Vintage Strings in Northern Illinois frequently, and greatly enjoys engaging non-classical audiences with pop and rock music.
